The scenario

A multi-generational Ontario egg farm with 50+ years of operation needed a modern web presence. They had no existing website, no technical team, and no way to update content on their own: just a business card and word of mouth. They needed a site that reflected their heritage while helping new customers find them online.

How we worked

  • Vertum's founder worked directly with Pat and Amanda from day one
  • AI-augmented engineering meant one person delivered what would normally take a full team
  • We set up Google Sheets so Pat and Amanda update their own site: no developer needed
  • Daily check-ins with live prototypes: nothing launched without their approval

What we delivered

  • -7 pages, built for every screen size
  • -5 automated systems running behind the scenes
  • -30 custom sections designed from scratch
  • -Content you update yourself through Google Sheets
  • -Email capture for new customers
  • -Search across the entire product catalog
  • -Smooth animations throughout the site

The result

Homestead Farm launched at homesteadeggs.com with a site Pat and Amanda update themselves through Google Sheets. No developer on retainer, no waiting weeks for changes. One Vertum engineer delivered in 7 days what traditional agencies quote 2-3 months for.
